OK, I have had a slight change of heart on the start up. No one is on the hive tile and to give everyone a chance no one is allowed to challenge for it until Turn 3. This is because the Hive offers a major advantage in someone doubling there map pieces. Also if the rebels lost it in the turn one they would be at to much of a disadvantage as they would lose all of the map pieces.
So here we are, I need you all to give me the positions of your shields, power stations, manufactoriums and bastions ASAP. Here's to a long and awesome campaign!

How this is going to work...
After much thought, I have decided to start things off even. We all start off with the same amount of tiles and the same amount of sky shields, bastions etc. One player is going to start off with the Hive tile (the only thing I have pre-decided, everything else will be random) but wont have any extra sky shields etc as the Hive tile gives you one bonus for each of those anyway.
We are going to draw out of a hat which of the numbered tiles we own at which point you can decide where you want to place your bastions etc..
A game turn is going to last two/three weeks. You can play as many or as little games as you like. This will mean however this campaign is going to take a while to complete, but I dont want to tie players to playing this exclusively when there are so many other things going on. Im looking for players to play at least one or two games in that time.
If you dont know the rules - dont worry, they are simple. All it is basically rolling dice on a table and keeping score. You do get things like point advantages and things so you need to know who your playing in advance so you can make any list adjustments.
In this campaign as its my first one I think just standard 40k missions and pt values between 1K and 2K to be decided by player pre game.
I will be leaving a small rules pack for everyone on Thursday so if you have any questions ask me or post on the thread I made on Hulls Angels forum.
Better get on with the rules pack.... :(

Kaleraaq
Kaleraaq located around, but far enough away from Maelstrom is a place of both beauty and industry. Mountains reach high into the clouds, the surface is vast and barren (30 times the size of Terra). Small pockets of forest and rich townships loosely populate and govern the land outside the huge Hive Cities. They farm the small fertile oases of land and make a rich living. Exports of fresh produce are highly sort after from the wealthy that live in the great hive city spires. The wealthy beurocrats, traders and high society will pay vast amounts of money for the planets fruits and fresh meat.
They sustain this level of wealth for one reason only, the black gold that lies beneath the surface - ore. This ore is a vital ingredient to the Imperiums infrastructure - Plasteel. It is used to make anything from a school to an Adeptus Astartes armour.
This planet isn't just a place for the rich to play about, it is also a prison planet - convicts, murderers any crime known to man has been commited by the damned workers that are shipped in to work the mines and live in the filthy Hives. Mining shifts can last weeks and can either be miles underground in sweltering heat or working the open mines that blemish the surface, where the weather is harsh and as unforgiving as the Imperial Guardsmen that police the planet on tour of duty.
Uprisings are few and far between, but they do happen, but such is the level of intell and Guardsmen they are felled quickly and without mercy. Public executions are regular to purge the hives of this kind of Heresy.
The Commisars have become lazy and do not have the Imperiam at the for-front of there mind or defenses, although they are not tainted they are more interested in keeping there blessed rich lifestyle in order. Corruption is rife among the wealthy beurocrats, traders and high society.
Local militia keeps control of escaping workers/hivescum looking for better life. They supply troops for IG duty all over the galaxy but because of the small population they get absorbed into regiments as opposed to making there own. Sometimes they are made into special ops squads as they have a vast array of skills that have been trained into them at the strictest and highest levels. The training is rigorous as the planet has a mixed climate with extreme conditions. Khaleraaq Vets are among some of the most revered men in the IG and often end up in Commissar roles, as they are highly intelligent, hardy and don't shirk any responsibility.
This is a planet that has never seen war of an great significance, never been over run with xenos and never seen the dark plight of Chaos mark it’s unfaltered past. The planet is so vital to the Imperium it has its own sanctioned psykers to weed out any Heresy that might lurk in the dirty dark corners. This is its greatest defense and also its greatest weakness.....

Let the campaign begin!
This is the first time I have done anything like this and so Im looking to keep things simple. Im going to use the Planetary Empires rules. I have the set, but TBH it will be easier for me to maintain online. Im going to run this as close to the PE rules as pos first off. The rules are very open and really you need to make rules up for each campaign. This is great, but I think we need to find holes with the standard rules first though.
Im nearly there with the fluff, just need to pad and work out what armies are taking part. The way the gaming is going to work is we will have a game turn where players can play one game towards the campaign or bow out a turn. I really want players who can turn up on either Weds or Thurs nights at Hulls Angels, so if you cant then please let someone who can play regularly sign up. Im looking for a max of six players. I have four so far so let me know if your interested. I will leave some sheets at the club for people to fill in at the end of each game for roll offs etc and you can leave me or email me the results where I will update the map and fluff as we go.
I will pin up/leave set of rules at the club, but I may be a few weeks off start up yet as there is quite a bit of prep to do. If I can find an easy way now, then is should make future campaigns really easy.
So first up a look at the campaign map, I will update, print and upload an image of it at the end of each game turn:
Found this awesome map on the internet and have added the location of Khaleraaq, thats all Im giving away on the fluff now!:
